How to Update the Firmware on the DT11

1. Online Update

Connect the DT11 to Wi-Fi. If a new firmware version is available, an update notification will appear in the notification bar. Tap the notification to enter the firmware update page.

Alternatively, go to Technical Support > Firmware Update > Online Update, and tap Check for Updates to manually check whether a new firmware version is available.

2. Local Update

Download the latest firmware package from the official FiiO website and copy it to the DT11's internal storage or microSD (TF) card.

Then go to Technical Support > Firmware Update > Local Update, locate the downloaded firmware package, and tap it to start the update.

Notes:

1. There is no need to extract the firmware package before updating.

2. Make sure the DT11 has sufficient battery power (above 30%) before starting the update to prevent update failures.

3. If the device enters Recovery Mode during the update and cannot detect the firmware package, the package may be corrupted. Press the Power button to confirm, select Reboot to restart the device, then download the firmware again, copy it to the DT11, and retry the update.

DT11  FW1.0.2 firmware changes are as follows:

1. Added support for Baidu Netdisk and OneDrive playback in FIIO Music.

2. Added sample rate display in the USB Audio output status bar.

3. Added third-party app background standby optimization and auto-start management.

4. Added option for the FIIO Cast app to start on boot.

5. Fixed an issue where USB exclusive mode was not released after the exclusive app was closed from the background.

6. Fixed occasional abnormal noise at the beginning of track switching when using USB output.

Notes:

1. Cloud storage playback: Go to FIIO Music->Media Server to log in and use.

2. FIIO Cast auto-start on boot: Go to the FIIO Cast app->Settings to enable.

3. Third-party app background management: Go to Settings->Battery->App Standby Optimization and Auto-Start Management, enable one-click optimization for all apps and disable auto-start for unnecessary third-party apps to effectively reduce standby power consumption.
