How to update the firmware for SR11: Click here 

After months of beta testing, the new firmware for SR11 has been officially released with new features such as local playback, Bluetooth reception, and DLNA support to meet the needs of most users. Please note that the new features may not be compatible with all apps, especially DLNA function. If you experience any issues after the update, you can try to downgrade to the previous firmware using a USB drive. Thank you for your understanding and support.

SR11 V630 firmware changes are as follows: 

1. Added Local Playback mode (Local) and Bluetooth Receiving mode (BT).

2. Added music library update function, supporting categorized playback by artist, album, genre, etc. after updating.

3. Added playback memory function for Local Playback mode.

4. Added OTA upgrade function.

5. Added Bluetooth reconnection function and optimized Bluetooth receiving compatibility.

6. Added volume synchronization control for Airplay mode.

7. Added DLNA streaming media receiving function for DLNA mode.

8. Optimized USB drive upgrade and fixed abnormal recognition bugs.

9. Fixed network configuration failure issue with certain special characters.

10. Optimized local playback by fixing potential noise output after prolonged playback.

11. Fixed the issue where the volume could not reach 100 when using ROON 2.0 for Airplay casting.

12. Fixed noise output issue when connecting the SR11 to some USB DAC devices that only support 32-bit data.

Notes:

1. Local playback and track update functions require using the FiiO Control APP and connecting to the mobile phone through WiFi but not Bluetooth.

2. Airplay volume synchronization control: After adjusting the SR11's volume knob, the transmitter's volume will automatically synchronize.

3. For the OTA upgrade function: After connecting to the network, manually select OTA CHK in the host menu to check for new versions.

4. DLNA is currently an experimental feature. Since Android systems typically use DLNA for casting playback, some music apps may have compatibility issues during prolonged playback due to Android system policies. You may try to improve this in the transmitter's battery settings: allowing full background behavior, disabling battery optimization, and keeping the transmitter screen always on. The SR11 cannot completely resolve these compatibility issues.

12.修复部分USB解码设备因只支持32bit数据,连接SR11后播放输出杂音的Bug

备注：

1.本地播放和曲目更新等功能，需要搭配FiiO Control APP使用，需要通过WiFi与手机连接，非蓝牙

2.Airplay音量同步控制：调节SR11的音量旋钮后，发射端音量可自动同步

3.OTA升级功能，在联网之后，需要主机菜单选择 OTA CHK，手动检查是否有新的版本

4.DLNA仅为体验性功能，安卓系统通常采用DLNA技术投屏播放，受安卓系统策略的影响，某些音乐app在长时间播放时，可能存在兼容性问题，可尝试在发射设备的电池设置里面，允许后台完全行为、关闭电池优化，发射设备显示屏常亮来改善，SR11无法彻底解决兼容性问题

SR11 M239 firmware changes are as follows:

1. Roon Ready Certified;

2. Added IP settings in the menu;

3. Added the function of waking up the device via the knob;

4. Optimized WiFi performance;

5. Fixed other bugs.

Note 1: With Roon Ready certified, Roon would no longer prompt “not certified” and the device name is displayed as FiiO SR11;

Note 2: The IP setting displays the last 2 segments of SR11’s current address, which is convenient to confirm whether it is on the same LAN with the audio devices like the cell phone.
