I have recently purchased the FiiO BTR15 for myself, and I'm experiencing serious audio issues with it in both PC mode and Phone mode.
The issue is that once I switch my BTR15 to any of these modes, the initial 1 second of the audio completely cuts off. If a continued audio stream starts to play, then it becomes fine. However, if the audio stops and then starts again, even after 2 seconds, the initial 1 second of the audio always cuts off.
This is an extremely serious issue that needs to be fixed urgently. Because of this problem, the BTR15 is completely useless to me, and it feels like I've wasted my hard-earned money on it.
I have even upgraded the firmware, but with no luck.
For example,
1. if the audio is "Black tiger is running away," then I only hear: "iger is running away.".
2. If the audio is "Speaker is a device which can be used by humans" then I hear "Er is a device which can be used by humans.
And yes, it happens everytime.
Seems that BTR15 instantly sleeps if the audio stops and once the audio plays again, it wakes up which causes this audio cut off.
And yes, it happens both on UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes, with and without installing the FiiO driver.
(I'm using Windows 11).
I believe a firmware update can fix this issue, and if it doesn't, then I'm never going to recommend or buy any FiiO DAC/Amps again, so that no one else loses their hard-earned money.
